Last season was another huge success with more kids playing than ever before. As many of you know we are a “Kids First” rugby club which means everything we do is player focused. We put their needs before anything else and the coaches work hard to make sure every player has FUN!!!!!!!!!!
Next season you may hear the term “half game rule” which is a new initiative to ensure every player gets a minimum of half game every Sunday. We have been doing this at Barton for years but it will be great to see other clubs now promoting this.
The coaches have been busy already attending coaching courses provided by the RFU covering specific age groups and also the new CPD’s which cover the principles of play but also how to develop the players in a fun environment.
